How we work Print E-mail

We can only offer our professional opinion and expertise when we have got to know you and gained an understanding of your personal circumstances. This is best done by meeting at a time and place convenient to you. We would usually expect our initial meeting to start with a very broad discussion of your concerns and aspirations, before moving on to a thorough financial review.

Following an initial review meeting, we will take time to consider your situation, needs and priorities before writing a detailed financial report. We will discuss this face to face in a follow up meeting to explain our recommendations and then agree affordable priorities to assist you in achieving your objectives.

The whole process generally consists of four or five stages:

Stage 1:         Initial 'no obligation' meeting.

The purpose of this meeting is to obtain more information about your personal and financial circumstances so that we can ascertain your goals and objectives and formulate a strategy to help you meet them. You will be provided with Key Facts documentation about our services and our charges, together with our Terms of Business for you to take away and consider.

Stage 2:        Post-meeting letter.

This letter summarises our understanding of your instructions, our estimated timescale for completion and outline of our charges.

Stage 3:        Report stage.

This provides our considered advice in a report format together with all of the paperwork for implementation. We will already have completed as much of the form filling as possible for you, so that all you have to do is check the details and sign when you are happy with the contents.

Stage 4:        Implementation.

We will immediately begin to implement any recommendations following your final confirmation to proceed.

Stage 5:        Ongoing financial reviews.

We will always maintain a watching brief of your portfolio and annually, we will undertake a complete financial review.
